Battlefield 2 is a first person shooter and is meant for you to play online with several other people. The object of the game is to improve your rank, which allows you to unlock special weapons for each different type of soldier. There are six different types of soldiers you can be, the first one is a sniper, they stay in the pack and snip other people, and also partake in claim wars, which are anti-infantry land mines. The next type is an engineer they repair vehicles and bases defenses they have anti-vehicle land mines and a shotgun for a weapon. After the engineer is the medic they heal other players and have a medic pack with shock paddles to revive people that have died. Another soldier type is the anti-vehicle, which has rocket launchers and small machine gun weapons. The next soldier is Special Forces they have C4 and they can call for artillery strike, they also have a semiautomatic rifle. The support soldier helps other players refill ammo and their weapon is a heavy machine gun. The last solder is an assault and their weapon of choice is smoke grenades and a nice assault rifle. You get a better rank by working with other people in a squad of about six to help win the battle. You win a battle two ways one is that you capture all the basses so that the other team cannot get reinforcements. The other way to win is when the other team runs out of reinforcements. Each battle has set amount of reinforcements for each team and there are a set amount bases.
